Vista SP1 on MSDN Subscriber Downloads

If you have an MSDN Subscription you can now download Vista SP1 from the subscriber downloads centre. You can find the related announcements on the Windows Vista Blog here and here. You can also download an Overview of Windows Vista SP1, Notable Changes in Windows Vista SP1 and, of course, the release notes.

There numerous enhancements relating to performance, reliability and security as well as application and device compatibility. All the details are in the documents linked above.

Oh, and I have it installed and it's lovely. I wouldn't swap it for another SP1.

That depends on what your definition of "you" is.  I checked yesterday after seeing your blog posting, and again 23 hours later.

It was available at that link when I posted and it’s still available there now. It’s in the top downloads area. You wont find it in the usual treeview. Mike

You’re right, if I log in to MSDN before clicking on your link then it’s listed in that corner of the page.  Thank you.

Aha sorry Norman. I hadn’t logged in specifically but probably have a cookie that recognises me so I was just presented with those options each time I visiited. Sorry for any confusion. Mike
