Is anything easier than falling out of the habit of posting to your blog?

Jeez - I can't believe how long it is since I wrote anything. The MSDN Roadshow has completely absorbed me (and a few others) - you just forget there's a world outside! (By the way, if you were hoping to attend the Roadshow and couldn't get a place - all the venues are now full - then keep an eye out as we're trying to add one more additional date in Reading).

Also on the horizon is the UK Microsoft Office System Developers Conference to be held at the Novotel, Hammersmith on June 21-22nd. You can have a look at the session overviews - suffice to say we'll be trying to cover a lot of ground in a couple of days. If you have an interest in Office development or you're curious to find out what the 2007 Office system will mean for developers, book your place now.

sadly i won’t be able to make the office developer conference – what does amuse me is that the schedule is a pure Word document – complete with green and red underlining for suggested grammar and spelling changes – do MS employees not use these facilities or are they just too busy getting the document out to think about such finishing touches (and it happens in our organisation as well i shoud add)

what amuses me about the session overview is that the Word document still has the green and red suggested underlinings (and i’ve seen this frequently in our organisation as well) – does this mean that people in MS don’t use the feature or are just too busy to put the finishing touches to such documents

Er, yes…. I noticed that as well. I think that’s a case of the latter rather than the former. Sorry about that – I will request that it be fixed… 🙂
