The Microsoft Technical Roadshow and ASP.NET 2.0

We've just completed another Microsoft Technical Roadshow. Over the last few weeks we've visited Edinburgh, Birmingham, Harrogate and London. I want to thank everyone that took time out to come along, say hello, listen to 2 days worth of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 and basically made the event what it is.

The plan is for me to post a few things about ASP.NET 2.0 - the subject of my session - over the next few weeks and to create some nuggets on the subject too. In the meantime I just wanted to mention one thing. In my session I used My MSN as an example of the sort of functionality you can get with webparts. Unfortunately, almost nobody had heard of / visited My MSN. So, I thought I'd promote it a little here. Take a look and see the sort of web UI you can build with webparts in ASP.NET 2.0. Drag and drop, edit properties, select parts from a catalogue etc. You need a Microsoft Passport to sign in.
