Tuba spotted in Shenzhen!

Spotted at the opening ceremony of the Embedded Systems Conference in Shenzhen - a marching band, one of which was carrying a... Tuba! - I assume that this was tucked away and out of sight for the trip in the car to the conference center! (see previous post here).

    a very funny joke~

the sign on the road which with a "Tuba" on it, means that honk the horn of the car in downtown is not allowed..maybe such a sign is truely tending to mislead.

i like your sense of humor

have a good time in China. ^_^

I’ve got a fever, and the only presciption is more tubas…

One can’t explain this, really.  But it is a relief to know that, in Europe and in China, the Communists still appreciate good tuba music and have not banned this beautiful instrument!

  3. Mike,

I could feel in China that you were really bumped about your not being able to play tuba in the street.

So, to cheer you, I got you the training manual you were craving…
