Tuba spotted in Shenzhen!

Spotted at the opening ceremony of the Embedded Systems Conference in Shenzhen – a marching band, one of which was carrying a… Tuba! – I assume that this was tucked away and out of sight for the trip in the car to the conference center! (see previous post here).

    a very funny joke~

    the sign on the road which with a "Tuba" on it, means that honk the horn of the car in downtown is not allowed..maybe such a sign is truely tending to mislead.

    One can’t explain this, really.  But it is a relief to know that, in Europe and in China, the Communists still appreciate good tuba music and have not banned this beautiful instrument!

    I could feel in China that you were really bumped about your not being able to play tuba in the street.
