The trip from Dusseldorf to Aachen.

Yesterday I took a flight from London to Dusseldorf and met one of my colleagues (who shall remain nameless for now) who was going to drive us both to Aachen for meetings at the European Microsoft Innovation Center (EMIC) - We had an Audi A8 rental car (same car used in the movie 'Transporter 2'), being a Sunday evening the Autobahn was mostly clear - which made it quite easy to make reasonable progress, typically hitting 150mph - the A8 feels very stable at these speeds.

The meetings at EMIC are today/tomorrow - and then we need to make the trip from Aachen to Nuremberg - the GPS navigation device in the car predicts the trip should be around 5 hours - the 'driver' thinks we should be able to do this in under three hours! - I will try to get a photo of the speedo during the trip tomorrow.

Wednesday through Friday I will be at Embedded World in Nuremberg...

Oh, btw, we found the Starbucks in Aachen last night, but it was closed, perhaps we might have time to drop in for coffee some time today...
