Microsoft Sessions at ESC Boston - Sept 18-20, Boston.

Microsoft is heading to ESC Boston (September 18-20), Kevin Dallas, General Manager for the Windows Embedded Business at Microsoft will be presenting a keynote presentation on Thursday September 20th at 1pm

The title of the keynote is "Powering Smart, Connected, Service Oriented Devices" Here's the abstract for the session: The age of the intelligent device has reached technical and economic viability. Today all Internet users are people. Tomorrow billions of intelligent devices operating on behalf of people and institutions will dominate the Internet, delivering instant and seamless access to information, entertainment and productivity services. This will create a new world of "Connected Experiences" for users, and new business models and opportunities for OEMs, Enterprises, and Service Providers. This keynote will describe the challenges and opportunities of this new world, and how Microsoft and our partners are working to make Windows Embedded the platform of choice for this new generation of "Smart, Connected, Service Oriented Devices".

I expect Kevin will have some super cool demos to show, I wonder who the demo monkey is going to be...

We're also hosting a number of free breakout sessions at the event - session topics include .NET Micro Framework, Windows XP Embedded, Windows Embedded for Point of Service, Windows Embedded CE 6.0, and another session covering something else ;O)
