just been reading Derek Snyder's blog - looks like the Windows Mobile 6 SDKs are available to download.

Note that the naming of Windows Mobile devices has changed - previously Windows Mobile devices were known as "Pocket PC" and "Smartphone", the new naming is "Professional" (used to be Pocket PC) and "Standard" (used to be Smartphone).
