    Hi,

when I was watching your how-tos video,I find that you use a Software Code Clip in Platform Builder. And my question is Where to download "CodeClip".

    sincerely,thanks

  2. mikehall says:

CodeClip can be downloaded from here – http://embeddedpodcast.com/Tools/CodeSnip.zip

Note that this is a ‘skunk tool’ that I wrote quickly for demos :O)

    Hi Mike,

I tried to use the codesnip. It is looking for basic_labPBBasic.xml and says it is not found. Is there anything missing in the zipped file.

  4. mikehall says:

ah, yes, the topmost XML file was pointing to the wrong folder – fixed, and updated the zip file – http://embeddedpodcast.com/Tools/CodeSnip.zip

I have two questions in CE 6.0 Build 1937

    1. There is no MFC component

    2. Makeimg error – can’t find file cemgr.exe when I select Platform Manager

  6. mikehall says:

    1. Yes, correct there isn’t an MFC component in the catalog – since CE 6.0 is a plug in to VS 2005 you would need to add the MFC runtime components from VS 2005 into your o/s image (we have a virtual lab going live on November 1st that will show how this works) – http://www.ce6launch.com

    2. I’ve not seen the cemgr issue – I will take a look.

    Mike,

Where can I find out about the Windows CE 6.0 web server ? I am not having much luck around MSDN or Technet.

    regards

  8. mikehall says:

Steve, what do you need to know about the HTTP Web Server for CE ? – the component can be located by searching the catalog for SYSGEN_HTTPD.
