    Hi Mike,

Does XPe or CE have a Controller Area Network (CAN) library that can be used to interface between your application and a CAN network?

P.S. Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but i thought i’d give it a shot.

    Thanks,

The interface you are looking for will more then just a software thing, you will need hardware also. And it is the hardware manufacturer that will have to provide the libraries.

I don’t know this company but something like this is what you will need

    Hi Mike,

Thanks thats exactly what i was looking for.

I was assuming that you could have plug and play CAN cards that could then be exposed through a .NET Framework API similar to the serial port.

    Thanks,
