Windows CE – Playing with Phidgets…

I don’t have any meetings on my calendar today (wow, big surprise!), and all of my sessions and demos appear to be working for next weeks MEDC Malaysia, so I appear to have a few minutes on my hands…

I have a box full of Phidgets sat in my office that I’ve been wanting to play with, so it’s time to build a Windows CE O/S image and see what we can do with some of the gadgets/phidgets.

I’ve pulled three items out of the box, a two line display, a temp sensor, and a combination of joystick and button (like one of the XBOX controller controls).

My baseline o/s image is built and booting on my x86 based ICOP eBox II reference board – so all I need to do now is add the Phidgets driver, and write some application code… let’s see if I can get something up and running today…
