Vegas and the Developer.

MEDC 2005 was running in Las Vegas last week (I need to write a wrap-up blog post, and capture some video demos of some of the cool new Windows Mobile 5.0 and Visual Studio 2005 and Compact Framework 2.0 features).

It was really strange to see so many people that appeared to spend their entire week in Vegas sat in front of a machine pressing buttons – one of the Podcast crew pointed out that people spending their week gambling on the machines in a casino [pushing buttons] is exactly the same as a developers typical week, sat in a chair pushing buttons for the week… Hmmm…
