OpenNETCF – GPS Library.

Those darn clever OpenNETCF guys have been at it again, this time they’ve been working on a GPS library in Managed Code! – they’ve called this GPS Library Reloaded – how very cool is that!

It’s now time to provide feedback on the library – go here to get the bits and provide feedback.

Any advice on the best Pocket PC GPS apps? I’m going to be selling my old GPS in favor of a bluetooth GPS, and libraries like this should inspire some neat apps.

I use a GPS4420 device from Navman, and a bluetooth enabled Pocket PC – http://www.navman.com/land/products/gps4420/index.html

This works extremely well – I know that other guys in the team here use CoPilot Live http://www.alk.com/products/consumer/copilot_pocketpc5/index.asp

The OpenNetCF GPS Library project, is a great framework for building GPS based applications.

It works with a wide range of blutooth, card or serial based GPS devices.

+ its free, with full source code.

    Give it a whirl….
