Windows Embedded ChallengE

The Windows Embedded ChallengE is back on (note the extremely clever capitalization of “C” and “E” in ChallengE), this time the competition is open to students across the world to enter teams – The competition challenges undergraduate teams of four, with a faculty mentor, to design a computer-based system that solves a real-world problem.

Organized by Microsoft® in association with the Computer Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), the contest invites registered Windows Embedded Student ChallengE teams to compete for a chance to present their projects in Redmond, WA, and win cash prizes.

I believe the registration date for this has been extended by a week or so, I will check and get back to you – at his point there are 68 teams registered, the breakdown of locations is as follows.

I was checking the site and i´ve got confused about the dates… In CSIDC there is a deadline to the application form that is 2, January… I didn´t get this date and i want to participate in windows challenge, is it possible? Can I still participate, even that my university doesn´t have a CSIDC RegNumber?

  2. Ivan Joseph says:

No problem Marcelo. You can register for Windows Challenge since our deadline is February 6th, 2005. And yes you can participate even if you don’t have a CSIDC registration number.
