Christmas – Action Figures ?

I guess Christmas must be getting close, it’s cold and wet outside (actually that closely describes most days in Seattle), and the stores look like they are getting ready for Valentines day, or Easter, or something like that…

I see that you can get Action Figures of just about anything these days, Halo, Star Wars, Van Helsing, Muppets, you name it, you can probably get it… but, why isn’t there a “Software Developer” action toy ? (with accessories, CPU, mouse, keyboard, empty soda cans, half eaten pizza etc…) ???

James, to me this Geekman looks way to slim for an average geek 🙂

How about a ‘Milton from Office Space’ action figure?

  3. … because software devs aren’t nearly as cool as the Silent Bob action figure (autographed) which is my contribution to our department’s gift exchange this year…

"I guess Christmas must be getting close" — You know it’s nearly Christmas when Sainbury’s starts stocking Cadbury Creme Eggs…….

  5. Hey, we need a *MIKE HALL* action figure!! 🙂 Meanwhile, we’ll just have to make do with the cuddly Channel9 Guy…

Neil, Sainsburys <sigh> I miss shopping at Sainsburys, it would be great to have a sainsburys close to Redmond, baked beans, *real* Cadburys chocky, cream eggs, the list is endless…

We do have the british pantry and Larrys Markets that stock some british products, but as you can imaging they are somewhat overpriced…

On a recent trip back to the UK to present at the MSR Embedded RFP event in Cambridge I just had to take a few minutes to visit Marks and Spencers, grab some of their sandwiches and some chocky…
