MIT Works to Power Computers With Spinach eWeek - 9/27/2004

MIT researchers say they have used spinach to harness a plant's ability to convert sunlight into energy for the first time, creating a device that may one day power laptops, mobile phones and more.

Does this mean that the next generation of laptops need to have a tin opener and a CD-Rom drive ?
