Quick news: Microsoft Press picks up six awards at last night’s STC ceremony

January is award season. Although this ceremony wasn’t as glamorous as the Golden Globes or the Oscars, it meant a lot to the authors and editors who were recognized for their outstanding contributions to technical communications. The Puget Sound chapter of the Society for Technical Communication hosted its annual dinner and awards ceremony last night. Here are some pictures from the event. Special thanks go to author Karl Wiegers for traveling from his home in the Portland, Ore., area to Seattle to accept his award in person.
