Author news: A call for authors and technical editors
Microsoft Press is currently seeking authors and technical editors for some of our Exam Refs that will help prepare candidates for the new developer exams. If you are interested or if you know people whom you think would be good for inclusion in such books and you can provide introductions, please respond to Russell Jones at b-rujone@microsoft.com.
Exam Ref Guidelines:
Mission
Featuring concise, objective-by-objective reviews and strategic case scenarios and Thought Experiments, candidates get professional-level preparation for the exam. The Exam Ref helps candidates maximize their performance on the exam and sharpen their job-role skills.
Distinguishing Features
· Streamlines study by organizing material according to the exam’s objective domain, with one functional group and its objectives covered in each chapter. Candidates can choose to study all objectives or focus on only those they feel they need to work on.
· Features Thought Experiments to guide candidates through a set of “what if?” scenarios
· Explores the “big picture” thinking around the planning and designing nature of job roles, as opposed to the more task-driven TS work.
Audience and User Level
The audience consists of Microsoft certification candidates. You can find information about the audience for a specific exam in the exam preparation guide, available at https://www.microsoft.com/learning.
