You Gotta Errata?

Kimberly Kim, book-survey-data-obsessed managing editor, here. I’m reading through the comments from the past quarter’s book surveys. Several folks mentioned they want a place they can go to view or submit any errors that might sneak their way into our books. Guess what! That place exists. Each Microsoft Press book has an errata page on https://microsoftpress.oreilly.com/. On the errata page for an individual title, you’ll find a list of errors and their corrections that were found after the book was released. If you’ve stumbled on an error that is not already listed, you can submit your own errata from this page.

The quickest way to find the errata page for your book is to go to https://microsoftpress.oreilly.com/ and type the ISBN code (located above the barcode on the back cover of your book) into the search box at the top of the page. This will take you to the catalog page for your book. On the catalog page, under the picture of the book cover, click View/Submit Errata.

Oh, and when you’re finished, since you’re already in the neighborhood, go on back to the catalog page and click Give Feedback. That will take you to the books survey, where you can give me even more data to obsess over.
