Windows Internals is eight for eight

Windows Internals, Fifth Edition (Microsoft Press, 2009), by Mark Russinovich and David Solomon with Alex Ionescu, has received eight for eight 5-star reviews at Amazon. Frankly, we’re not surprised.

You won’t be surprised either after taking a look at a sample chapter. Chapter 5, “Processes, Threads, and Jobs,” is available (116 gloriously detailed pages) here. This sample chapter also includes the book’s complete Table of Contents. Enjoy!

And here’s the most recent review on Amazon, by Christopher Bisnett: “The knowledge contained in this book is staggering. If you want a complete understanding of any component of Windows there is no better reference. Every Windows programmer should have this book on their bookshelf.” Thanks, Christopher!
