K2 will demonstrate how educational institutions are using their product to improve operational processes, while Neudesic will demonstrate a faculty research management tool that serves as a repository of profiles, documents,
and metadata, fully reflecting the research work of higher education faculty.
Built on Microsoft SharePoint 2010, the faculty research management tool:
-Disseminates information about the faculty, outlining who they are and the work they are doing
- Enables usability of content on institution's public website
-Provides information that enables a broad range of management reports, directly supporting decision-making
In addition, the faculty management tool is scalable to accommodate future research-related information types and needs, and the user interface resembles standard business applications, allowing data to be collected using
a familiar wizard.
