Coffee-Powered Altruism from Yale University has qualified for the Imagine Cup US Finals

Team members Henry CorriganGibbs and Christopher Riederer created a strategy game called Alterra that tasks participants with tackling development issues of a country or region. With this game design, the world of science and technology is one global step closer to accomplishing one of The Eight UN Millennium Development Goals of achieving universal primary education.

Moving forward, team Coffee-Powered Altruism and nine other US teams will compete in Washington D.C. on April 23-26 in the Game Design categoryfor the grand prize of $8,000.
