Join us for a great event focusing on System Center and Virtualization – Fulfilling the Promise of the Dynamic Datacenter, hosted by US Education Solution Specialists Michael Greene and Kevin Sullivan.

Microsoft believes virtualization technology should be in the hands of every organization, without the overhead of high priced third party software. This session will explore what Microsoft has to offer as a tier one hypervisor and the latest tools to manage an enterprise environment. Scenarios will include a walk-through of the technology with explanations for those new to Hyper-V and translations for those interested in supplementing existing environments. Attendees will walk away from this session with the knowledge to build a test environment for server consolidation or virtual desktop infrastructure, using software you may already own.

The second portion of the session will focus on what solutions we have to help manage it all. The core of our management strategy is found within our System Center family of products. System Center provides you an integrated management infrastructure which empowers you to reign in your virtualized infrastructure and do so using consoles, PowerShell scripting, and processes that are fully automated and delegated for the most complex of environments. This session will include an overview of the System Center family and will delve into specific examples of how it is used to manage a virtualized datacenter – whether built on top of Hyper-V, ESX, or a combination of the two.
