Windows Pre-Installation Environment (Windows PE) will be the core deployment infrastructure for Windows. Windows PE makes large-scale deployments of Windows (Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows Server) significantly easier, and we have decided to make Windows PE available to all corporate customers. (Previously, Windows PE was only available to customers who had a Software Assurance [SA] agreement with Microsoft.)
