MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX Cumulative Updates 8 & Lifecycle Services Updates

Microsoft continues its commitment to customer success by continuing our frequent release cadence of Cumulative Updates (CUs) which is comprised of rollups of released hotfixes, regulatory updates and existing business process enrichments.

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8

In this minor release, planned for Q4 CY2014, we continue investments in retail and supply chain to enable individuals in organizations to engage with customers on their terms across web, social, mobile, and in-store experiences and run dynamic operations that deliver on promises made to customers.

  • Lifecycle Services

Additionally, we are providing new capabilities in Lifecycle Services [LCS] that could allow customers to expand their operations and grow smartly by taking advantage of the newly added functionality such as the new Methodology integration that includes SureStep, an increase to ~800 documented business processes/flows, and the ability to easily and quickly identify and install relevant hotfixes and regional updates in CU8 to your different Dynamics AX 2012 R3 implementations with the Updates tool.  Every partner with an AX practice should leverage LCS to validate the architecture of their solution. It is an amazing service that allows you to decrease your incidences while increasing the success of your implementation.  For the latest updates on LCS, visit PartnerSource.
