Get Ready to Experience Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009!

Dear Valued Partner,

We are gearing up for the launch of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 later this year. This will be one of the most significant product launches ever for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and we want to help you get ready. We are releasing the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Technical Preview which includes a VPC image and product documentation. And, we are releasing this to you now so you can familiarize yourself with the solution and learn how to use the new Transformation Tool.

Here’s what you need to do to boost your internal readiness:

1. Download and install the VPC files from PartnerSource

2. Take your time and get to know the full solution including the Role Tailored User Experience, New Reporting Capabilities, Page Designer and Web Services

3. But most importantly – learn and start to use the transformation tool! It’s vital that you understand the transformation process and the impact on your current solution

Finally, as part of the Technical Preview we are releasing Platform Documentation. This documentation includes a series of walkthroughs and task topics that help you better understand how to create reports, work with Web services, transform forms into pages, create new pages, and configure and personalize Role Centers.

Find the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Technical Preview, plus a video from Dan Brown, General Manager of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development and more to help you get ready on PartnerSource.

Remember – the purpose of the Technical Preview is to help you get ready. We will release a marketing VPC by the end of September. By then it will be time to show the solution to your customers and prospects. Until then please be aware of the confidentiality clause which prevents you from showing any of the content to customers or other external third parties.

We are excited about the release of the Community Technical Preview and we hope you will be too, when you see and experience Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009!

Good luck with your internal readiness activities!
