Connect(); - It all started here. Are you ready for what's next?

A year ago, the Connect(); developer virtual live event started the journey for a new Microsoft for developers, unveiling the future of an open source .NET on Linux and Mac, and a free Visual Studio for targeting any device and any OS.

Join us this year on November 18 and 19 to hear live from our top technical presenters Scott Guthrie, Brian Harry, and Scott Hanselman what’s next in this exciting journey. Get deeper insights into our exciting announcements with over 30 on-demand sessions. Interact with the engineering team members behind Microsoft tools and technologies to help you get started.

On November 18 we will be holding the keynotes and on-demand sessions. November 19 will be a day of in-depth interactive technical sessions. Use these links to add the November 18 and November 19 events to your calendar.

The event will take place on our Connect(); site. The sessions will be available for later viewing on our Channel 9 Events page, where you can also find streamed sessions for many other interesting Microsoft events, virtual or in person.

To learn more about open source .NET on different platforms, I invite you to take a look at the site of the “.NET Foundation” and its various projects. To get the now free, fully functional “Community Edition” of Visual Studio, targeted at non-commercial developers, visit the Visual Studio Community page.  And do you want to use the free, lightweight Visual Studio edition, optimized for web projects on Windows, Mac OS and Linux? Then visit the Visual Studio Code page.
