This summer, we will release Visual Studio 2015 to developers. We will offer a new edition, called Visual Studio Enterprise, which will replace the current Studio Premium und Visual Studio Ultimate editions. The new edition will contain all features of the current Visual Studio Ultimate edition, including innovative features for development teams of various sizes. The price of Visual Studio Enterprise will be considerably lower than the current Ultimate edition.

All users of VS Premium and VS Ultimate with MSDN will receive a free upgrade to Visual Studio Enterprise.

Use the time until Visual Studio 2015 launces to purchase Visual Studio Premium with MSDN or to extend existing licenses. As soon as Visual Studio 2015 launches, you will receive access to the full capability of Visual Studio Enterprise including downgrade-rights to Visual Studio Ultimate 2013.

Small and medium Enterprises will get up to 20% discount on a purchase of Visual Studio Premium with MSDN until June 30, 2015. This offer is valid for the Open License und Open Value (Subscription) and only on a new purchase, not on extending an existing license. The offer is valid for companies up to 250 PCs and to a maximum of 20 licenses per customer.

Visual Studio Professional with MSDN clients can profit from our Step-Up program in May and June 2015 by receiving up to 50% price reduction when switching to the Premium edition. This also includes the free switch to the Enterprise edition as soon as Visual Studio 2015 becomes available.
