Windows Azure Guest OS Updates

On periodic basis we release updates for Windows Azure Guest OS. These OS are generally used by cloud services deployment (mainly PaaS).

Windows Azure supports three Guest OS families.

• The 3.x versions are substantially compatible with Windows Server 2012.
• The 2.X versions are substantially compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 or R2 SP1.
• The 1.X versions are substantially compatible with Windows Server 2008 SP2.
