Keni Barwick of Conchango fame has been playing with the GPS Intermediate driver on Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC. As well as finding a solution to the HTC 'issue' he has posted a step by step guide for setting up GPS signal sharing. Here is a link to his post.
