Fastest way to get DBPro Role CTP3 up and running

Here we go. CTP3 of Visual Studio for Database Professionals is available online. I already installed it a few days ago and wanted to share my experience:

If you are an MSDN subscriber, the fastest way to get the CTP up and running is to install it in the Team Suite Eval VPC we have available on MSDN.

Be sure to install SQLExpress SP1, without the CTP installation will fail! This is also necessary if you have a full fletched SQL Server running like in the Team Suite Trial.

Afterwards, just go through smooth CTP installation.

Create a database project, import an existing database and start testing it out…

Be aware of the limitation that this early CTP has, especially concerning schema import and database deployment. For details look into the Readme File.
