    Is Chicago ever going to get any Virtual Earth love? It’s only the third largest city in the US.

    +++++

    I know and I love Chicago. We don’t have NYC in 3D either. There are reasons behind this mostly associate with the local flight control folks limiting our flight patterns and elevation. Bears v. Chargers? Go Bolts!

  2. Italy orthos apparently are not there and you cannot see any aerial data if you zoom beyond the 3rd to last notch (Rome) 🙁

    Could you define each of those? Because I’m looking in VE3D and don’t see half of the ‘textured 3d cities’ you mention.

    Make sure you have models enabled in by clicking on the “options” link at the top. The models exist in the downtown urban areas only.

    When NYC and Long Island NY will be done?

    Sooner than you think.
