Through MPR, software developers can test applications against common compatibility issues, get remediation advice, and receive product logos upon successful completion of a test. Results also help qualify for Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) competencies, providing access to additional software licenses and marketing benefits.  Startups as well as established MPN members are welcome to sign up for Microsoft Platform Ready.
