How to view Start Menu in List Mode

Was asked this question recently and found a great tweaking guide for Windows Mobile phones. All you have to do to Change Start Menu to List View Instead of Large Icon View:

  1. Navigate to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu
  2. 2a: Change the GridView value to 0 if you want list view.
    2b: Change the GridView value to 1 if you want grid (large icon) view.

This guide is designed for the T-Mobile Dash or HTC Excalibur but it might work for other Windows Mobile phones as well.
