The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) devised a technology solution for tracking and inspecting many of its roadway signs. This solution was build on Windows Mobile 5.0 and on the Windows XP Tablet PC using the .NET Compact Framework and the .NET Framework for the Tablet PC version.

What's great is that the Microsoft tools allows developers to easily traverse multiple platforms easily to take advantage the form factor benefits that each provide. Tuan La the IT and Telecommunications Systems Specialists for GTAA sums it up nicely:
