SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition RC1 Released!

So the final new name for SQL Server for your mobile device is SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition. That's SSCE not to be mistaken with SQL CE which is the old-old version.

Visual Studio 2005 sp1 comes with SSCE installed, but for other configurations, you need to get the SDK and Runtimes separately.
