You've probably heard by now, the Pacific Northwest was just hammered by a freak windstorm two days ago with gusts of wind over 66mph, uprooting huge trees and cutting down powerlines allover Washington State and Oregon.
Over a million homes and businesses were without power and the good folks at the power companies are over feverishly to fix the lines with help from neighboring states. Checkout the latest news at

Our home in Duvall is still powerless and we've been surviving thanks to a natural gas fireplace and my HTC Excalibur 🙂 hope things get better tomorrow. There are rumors that some places might not get any power till perhaps Thursday.
