Earlier this year, I presented at the 2010 Regional MVP Summit at MSIDC in Hyderabad, India. In addition to the Global Summit in Redmond, a number of international MVP Summits take place each year, to promote connections among local Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs). This event was the 4th Summit for the region, and included MVPs from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The session I presented was a “Lap Around VS 2010 and .NET 4”. In the talk, I demonstrated new VS 2010 & .NET 4 features while building a fun Twitter Analyzer application. I’ve included the slides in this post, and the source code on Code Gallery in both VB & C#.

I thoroughly enjoyed the many opportunities throughout the week to meet with MVPs and hear some great feedback. Thanks for all the great conversations, new friendships, and best of luck in your development projects on Visual Studio 2010!
