LightSwitch HTML Client API Reference Released

You asked for it, and here it is. I’m proud to announce the availability of the HTML Client API Reference in the MSDN Library. The single page article provides reference documentation for every member of the JavaScript API for LightSwitch HTML clients.

While many of the members include example code, many do not – and that’s where you come in. I’m asking the community to share examples of how they are using the API’s with code snippets that illustrate different API members. I’ll update the article on a monthly basis with community-contributed examples.

To submit your code snippets, please use the built-in feedback system in the library:

Click the “Rate this topic” link at the top of the topic.

Choose “Yes” or “No” (hopefully yes :-).

Add your contribution. It’s easy, and it will be routed directly to me via our internal feedback database.

Of course, your feedback is also welcome via the same feedback system. Feel free to point out any errors in the content or make suggestions for additional content.

Please don’t, however, ask for specific coding help – I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a JavaScript guru. Instead, please use the forum to get help from the community to solve your coding issues: Visual Studio LightSwitch – General Questions

Happy coding!
