In this post I show you how you can easily create HTML emails from LightSwitch data and send them in a couple different ways. The first example shows how to auto-send them from a business rule on the server via SMTP. This is a great solution if you want to send email in response to some event happening in the data update pipeline on the server side. But what if you want to allow the user to modify the email before it is sent? I also present a client-side solution that creates an HTML email by automating Outlook.
