It seems I attempt to do this about this time every year. I think that I should start blogging more. Well at least start blogging. My posts over the last few years have been very sporadic. I guess it is part of the New Year process in Microsoft where we go through our review phase which makes you start reflecting on what you have done over the past year and look to the New Year.

For me it's been a very bust past year. I move from the development team where I spent a year working on an internal project. I moved into product management doing what I love to do which is work with our field teams and partners who are working with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Over the last few months I've been working on the launch of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. When I moved over in the beginning of February it was feet first into the launch process. For me it has been working on working on content to talk about the product. It's been busy with conferences both internal and external. I'll do some posts on these (well my track record on posts haven't been good so we'll see). The main thing I've been working on is building the VPC that can be used to work with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

It's been an interesting process building out this as Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is huge release. It's awesome to see the evolution of the product. I've been working with it now for close to 8 years. The leverage of Microsoft technology is amazing from the database, to the development tools, to the business analytics, collaboration.

So I thought that seeing I've been spending a lot of time working with the product and understanding some of these integrations I thought I would try to share some of that learning. So let's see how that goes.
