Larry's Comment Policy

  • I reserve the right to edit, remove, or ignore any comment I choose.  I try to be responsive, but if you ask a question, don't expect that it obligates me to respond.

  • I reserve the right to ignore and/or remove comments on blog posts older than two weeks.

  • I reserve the right to ignore and/or remove off-topic comments.

  • I won't tolerate profanity in the comments of my blog.  If you feel the need to use the 7 words you can't say on TV, then you can expect your post to vanish into thin air.

  • I appreciate civil discourse, I don't appreciate flamage.  If you bring up issues in a civil manner, then I'll do my best to respond with civility.  I have a fairly thick skin, and I can take criticism and ridicule, but it needs to be civil.

  • If you post that “Microsoft is teh debel” without having concrete facts to back that claim up, then you're likely to have your post moderated.  If, on the other hand, you can back your claims up, then go for it.  Microsoft's done some bone-headed things in its time, so criticism is ok, but blind fanaticism isn't :).
