The Cartoon Guide to Federal Spectrum Policy

I am currently working my way through a book entitled, The Real State of the Union: From the Best Minds in America, Bold Solutions to the Problems Politicians Dare Not Address, which is published by the New America Foundation.  One of my favorite chapters, written by Michael Calabrese, deals with federal spectrum policy in the United States.

Rob, who is sitting next to me in the Alaska Airlines lounge as we wait for our flight to TechEd San Diego, just sent me a link to a Slashdot article that points to the New America Foundation's Cartoon Guide to Federal Spectrum Policy. The Cartoon Guide, which I had not yet seen  “seeks to use the public's intuitive grasp of the acoustic spectrum to bring the public into the policy debate over unlicensed access to the radio spectrum.” The Guide is both hilarious and illuminating.
