Speaking in Windows Live Platform session at MIX 06

I'll be speaking at the MIX 06 event next week in Las Vegas, doing the demos in the Windows Live Platform general session by Brian Arbogast on Monday. The Windows Live team is sponsoring an event Monday evening from 6:00pm-9:00pm at TAO in the Venetian.

Myself and others on the Windows Live Platform team will be looking forward to receiving feedback about future Windows Live APIs and scenarios based on the announcements and preview demos shown in this session and others at the event. Feel free to contact me with ideas for Windows Live Platform APIs suggestions. I'll be blogging more here about announcements and some context for suggestions next week and beyond.

Windows Live provides unique opportunities for developers from hobbyists to large ISVs to build social networking applications on top of the largest contact and address book database on the Internet. Developers can build these applications utilizing Windows Live services such as instant messaging, search, location based mapping, blogging, gadgets, and others. These can be AJAX style Web applications, run within Messenger or other rich applications. The Windows Live Platform provides several business models based on revenue sharing and paid placement. Brian Arbogast, Vice President of the Windows Live Platform, discusses and demonstrates the latest developments of the Windows Live platform.
