The Virtual Earth Silverlight Map Control CTP was announced at this morning’s keynote.  You can now access the Virtual Earth Silverlight Map Control CTP Interactive SDK at the Microsoft Connect site! Here is a screenshot of the Interactive SDK:

If you are not yet part of the Virtual Earth Silverlight Map Control CTP program yet or have not registered with Connect, you will be presented with a page with instructions on how to sign up.  Once you sign up you will have access to the interactive SDK which shows a how to use the Virtual Earth Silverlight Map Control CTP with some code samples.  The actual Virtual Earth Silverlight Map Control CTP bits will available for download to the public this Friday, March 21st at 12PM Pacific Time.     Keith,

    Should this control work in a SLOOB? I tried it out, but the screen is blank (the control works fine in the .ASPX page).

    Also, is there any hope that this will make it to WPF? (I understand that WPF 3.0 will have an MSI control).

    Great work, I really like the model of attached (location) props that are geo-registered. Outstanding idea.

    Ultimately, I am looking for something like what AGI did with the 3D VirtualEarth control. (adding 3D simulation objects into VE space).
