5 years!

Couple of days back, I completed 5 years at Microsoft. Today, at a team meeting, I was showered with confetti and then back in my office there were some more. It's amazing how quickly time has flown by. I started out as an SDET in the ASP.Net group working on Web Controls, and 1.5 years later, moved to Indigo in May 2002 with a huge challenge - to build a test automation infrastructure from scratch for a distributed system platform. In Sept 2003, I moved to Core Messaging in Indigo (Windows Communication Foundation). It’s been an absolutely awesome journey for me - I’ve worked with some really smart and technical people, learnt and grown a ton, and made lots of friends…

One of my co-workers, Al Lee who is a performance PM came up with a spreadsheet that calculates the personal stock index based on the stock grant on the start date, time worked at MS and current stock price...My PSI is -7.0% - so I'm hoping we can get that stock price back up when we ship Indigo ;)
