The Windows Phone Developer Tools January 2011 Update is now available for download. One of the most awaited features is the copy and paste functionality, now available with updated Silverlight controls and assemblies which will ship in the forthcoming Windows Phone OS update to consumers.

What’s in the update?

  • updated reference assemblies
  • new Windows Phone OS emulator image
  • several minor bug fixes in addition to those previously released as part of the October 2010 Update
