Do you like to create useful tools to help your colleagues be more productive? Are you frustrated by huge software projects that take years to ship? Would you like to work on small, delivery focused projects where you have lots of creative input, authority and responsibility, projects that get used immediately?

The Windows SDK team is looking for a strong developer to work on our internal tools team. The Tools team produces tools and websites that track the tens of thousands of files that are submitted to the Windows SDK, maintains and updates the code used to package these files into the SDK itself, and writes and maintains the setup used by our customers./P>

You will be using cutting edge technologies from Microsoft, .NET 3.0 and 3.5, and SQL Server 2005. You will be working directly with Program Managers to define the scope and feature requirements of the tools.

We need a technically strong developer with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent problem solving skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A BS degree in Computer Science or 4 years software development industry experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience writing applications using C# and the .NET Class Library.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Experience writing SQL server queries and stored procedures
  • Microsoft Installer technologies
  • SQL Database design
  • Windows Workflow Foundation
  • Windows programming using C++
