Résumé Tip: Don't turn on revision tracking

At one point, I ran across a résumé (in Word format) which had revision tracking turned on. It probably wasn't the best move on the candidate's part because I was able to see all the changes he had made, which included the removal of certain key technologies from the "Skills" area. There was also a modification to their GPA (in the upward direction); thinking back on it now, I wonder if congratulations were in order...

So, unless you want your reviewer or prospective boss/co-worker to contemplate why you removed something from your résumé, you might want to disable and strip out any revision tracking data.
