In summary, the results of the testing efforts demonstrate that the SQL 2008 features like Compression, Filtered Indexes, Sparse Columns, Backup Compressioncan significantly improve the application performance of both SQL Server 2008 and Dynamics CRM 4.0 while resulting in space savings.
