A New Day At Windows Live

Wow! Windows Live is changing (Wave 3 we call it) and today shows some very visible signs of this. As announced, there are a set of features being exposed that make Live a true social network. It also is cooperating with other social networks like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook (which are my current favorites). So, expect an invitation from me, if you’re connected to me on those applications. If not, shoot me an invite at jon.box@live.com.

So many interesting features:

  • Sharing of contacts with other networks
  • Activity Feeds - Sharing of activities with the other networks
  • My MSDN blog posts will show up in Live
  • My activities will show up to you in several places (profile, email, Messenger, etc.)
  • Etc, Etc, Etc.
